Classic dishes of Rome, actually served in Little Italy (ok, Nolita). Emporio, a rustic Roman-style trattoria, springs from the same well as the two successful Aurora restaurants in Brooklyn and SoHo.

Literally an Emporio, the restaurant sells a superior selection of quality Italian provisions offering Italian and local cheese, artisanal and house cured charcuterie, raw bar, fritti, wood-fired pizzas, home made pasta plates and traditional Roman entrees.

The menu concept is far ranging and flexible, allowing clients to design a meal suitable for their palette and their price point. In addition to traditional dining service, other options include a glass of wine with antipasti, a family style meal at a communal table or a pizza and prosecco break. Emporio, which means "local grocery store" in Italian, will offer Roman fare, wine and retail selections.
