Part of the triumvirate of bars that includes the room and the otheroom, anotheroom seems like a bunker from some dystopian future where bar names incite Abbott & Costello routines. It could be a cafeteria in Brazil, perhaps the anteroom (let's see how long it takes them to open a bar with that name!) to the hollowed-out missile silo where Michael Palin is waiting to lobotomize you. Its industrial gray motif seems clinical, so much so that the jarringly-colorful artwork on the walls and the dangling paper lanterns serve only to intensify the feeling of being buried in a papier-mache tomb. That being said, anotheroom has wonderful sidewalk seating when weather and climate permit and stocks a nice selection of varietal wines and beers, as well as many—perhaps too many—Eurobrews.
