Bottino is the second New York restaurant for Daniel Emerman and Alessandro Prosperi. Their first, Barocco, was an art world institution, operating in TriBeCa from 1986 until 1999. Following in that tradition, Bottino opened in 1998, a pioneer in burgeoning West Chelsea.
Located on Tenth Avenue between 24th and 25th Streets, on the cutting edge of Manhattan, Bottino opened in a unique partnership with the Barbara Gladstone Gallery, Metro Pictures Gallery, and Matthew Marks Gallery.
Drawing energy and clientele from this dynamic business area as well as from the wonderful eclectic residential area of Chelsea to the east, Bottino is a unique blend of creative people, delicious food, and welcoming service. It's also one of the few Italian restaurants you'll find with exclusively Chinese chefs.
The food is a solid take on contemporary to traditional Tuscan cuisine, and rarely disappoints.
