The Long Island Bar

Dutch Fred's

Bespoke pub whose decor harkens back to early 1900s. Focus is on cutting edge cocktails, with many Broadway themed drinks. If cocktails aren't your thing wide selection of craft brews and small, well curated wine list are offered. Food is small plates, like crostini with goat cheese and fig jam and flat breads. Perfect place for elegant pre- or post- theatre experience. The intimate setting, elegant presentation and sophisticated flavors are sure to leave an impression.

Beach Bistro 96

Brazilian bistro opened in former surf shop. Popular addition to the expanding Rockaway beach food scene. Authentic Brazilian fare including Pastels (empanadas of a sort), Feijoada and Picanha (steak). Very affordable. Swimming makes ya hungry, so a perfect compliment to the beach!
