Floyd Cardoz turns his attention back to NYC with this Soho restaurant that harkens back to his beloved Tabla as well as his recent explorations in native India, where his Bombay Canteen has drawn rave reviews in the Mumbai culinary scene. Reviving some dishes from Tabla, such as rice-flaked halibut in watermelon curry, tamarind margaritas, and bacon naan, but also introducing regional dishes from the breadth and width of the Subcontinent. From Tibetan tingmao, to dishes from the Southern region of Kerela. An absolute must for lovers of Indian food!
