You might be surprised to find no jukebox at the Juke Bar, but while the two terms have similar etymologies, juke joints tended to be places where music was played live. Aside from that busted myth, Juke Bar gets everything else right, a perfect paean to the Southern juke joints where segregated blacks could come together to sing, dance, eat, and drink their troubles away. In that vein, Juke features nightly DJs spinning most blues and jazz and R&B to a soulful crowd.
